As a child, I always had a dog. Two dogs I member most from my childhood are our black lab named Duchess, and our golden retriever named Chelsea.

Shortly after my husband and I bought our first house, we added a dog to our family. Buster was our first dog, and now he's 14 years old. He is a Shih Tzu and he loves to stare out the window, bark at the mailman, go for walks, and cuddle on my lap any chance he gets.

Next came Charlie - also a Shih Tzu. He's now 7 years old. He is my baby. He is shy and knows that Buster is "top dog" at our house. He loves going for walks, playing fetch and eating. Charlie likes his "alone time" and would rather stay away from all of the household activity.

Our most recent addition is Buddy. He's a 1 year old Corgi. He is a puppy and has the energy to prove it. He loves to run, play fetch, chew on just about anything, chase squirrels, and get belly rubs. He keeps us on our toes and we love it.
