I was born
and raised in Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University with a
degree in History. I am married to Randy, who is a Lt Col in the
Air Force, stationed at STRATCOM at Offutt AFB. I have 1 daughter,
Christa, who is married to a sailor, Jason. They live in San Diego,
CA, where she works at SeaWorld as an aquarist. I also have 2
step-daughters who live in Iowa. Jan will be attending the
University of Northern Iowa this fall as a freshman and Veronica
will be starting her freshman year at IKM-Manning High School.
I have loved animals my whole life and currently own 3 dogs. Bob,
almost 8; Cammi, 6; and JR, my little 2 year old Chiweenie. Since
my husband is allergic to cats, we have no cats, but we do have 2
grand-kitties.
I owed my own pet sitting business for 2 years before we moved to
Nebraska. I was also an active volunteer for the Taylor Jones
Humane Society in Abilene, TX.
