You must:

Be 18 years or older

Have a clean criminal record, pass a
background check and be bondable
(pay $29.50 for a background check) -

Pay for bonding and insurance (approx. $10 -
$30 per year)

Some of the
responsibilities may include:

Visiting pets while their parents work or
travel

Feeding, playing with, medicating, and
walking the customer's pet (s)

Bringing in the customer's mail and
newspapers

Taking out and bringing in the customer's
garbage on trash day

Watering plants
-

Making sure the house and premises are
secure

Cleaning up after the customer's pet (s)

Staying overnight in a client's home
